Today was kind of fun.

We wasted many hours at the Newcastle University ascertaining that the lecturers are pretty crummy but that was okay because even though I learnt nothing (except for the meaning of the ~Fourth Estate~) I had the chance to meet up with heaps of neat people I don’t usually get to see.

And my resolve to not go to Newcastle University is strengthened. I just worry that I won’t be able to balance finances and independent living with the hard work of a combined law/international and global studies degree with a diploma of languages. One of those moments I wish my accommodation could be totally paid for! I think the most important thing is pursuing what I’m interested in though, because even if I have to live off lentils for 5 years I don’t want to sacrifice career opportunities for short term comfort.

Anyhow! Onward and upward.
